Browse Objects and Relationships by type
From the Homepage main page, you will find the Model Content section: it displays a list of repository content by type of Object, with an indication of volume of each type of data. It enables you to understand the scope and volume of information captured in the repository and provides direct access to them in a List View, the OrbusInfinity view used to present information in a table format.
From the Explore menu, the Content page offers more details about each Object Type in one single view. Use this menu to have direct visibility on:
- The Object Type: select its hyperlinked name to get to the catalogue (List View) of Objects of the selected Type.

Search for a specific term
From the toolbar, you can search for specific terms across the OrbusInfinity repository.
- In the toolbar search box, enter the terms you would like to search for. You can also press Ctrl + K (Windows) or Command + K (Mac) to quickly focus the search field without using the mouse.
-
Make sure it is at least 3-letters long. As you type, OrbusInfinity displays a list of matching results directly beneath the search field, so you can quickly discover and select the right item without running a full search.

When browsing or searching for information, attributes hidden from your role via attribute permissions will not be visible in search results, List Views, or Object details. For more information, see Manage content permissions.
Use Public Views
A View is a representation of your repository data in a format that suits different business needs. OrbusInfinify provides different types of views (List, Landscape, Traceability, Matrix, Impact Explorer) to present data in the most meaningful way.
Public Views are Views that are common and shared with users with access to the repository.
- Go to Views to see the list of existing views in the repository.
- Use the filter
icon on the Tag header to refine the scope of displayed data.
- You can filter the Views by type using the same filter option.
- Click on the name of the View to display content in the defined format.
- Most Views have three tabs:
- Contents where data is displayed.
- Details where you can manage the View settings from.
- Filters where you can define filters to apply to the contents.
Note that different options may be available depending on the type of View displayed.
- Navigate to the details of a displayed Object with a simple click on its name: main characteristics as well as change information will be shown in a flyout or in a separate browser tab.
- Explore the context of an Object: get familiar with it using this short video.
Use Predefined Dashboards
A Dashboard is a single page where all necessary information is displayed in one place. It is used to keep up-to-date on a scope of interest, enable discussions or ensure access to information on collaborative work.
- Find pre-defined Dashboards shared with you and people with the same user role on the "Shared with me" tab.
- Open a shared Dashboard and browse the displayed Widgets to understand its scope in more details.
- Navigate to Views, Individual Objects or dive into analysis of reports from the Dashboard through widget interactions.
